Who We Are

North Meadow Farm is a small dairy farm nestled in the Green Mountains of Southern Vermont.  We produce grass-fed raw milk, meats, fresh cheese curd, artisan farmhouse cheeses, fresh farm eggs, and an interactive petting zoo.  We use our grass-fed cow's sweet creamy milk to make all of our cheeses and age them on sight in our cheese cave.  We generally milk between 10-15 cows at a time and care for about 50 animals in all.  Our mission is to give you and your family & and friends insight into the honest and wholesome experience of farm life. Highlighting the natural processes of providing food for the table, with all of its health benefits, we offer farmhouse tours and an active petting farm from spring until fall. However, we are an open farm and welcome visitors and encourage questions.Lisa Cross, Jesse Pomeroy and David Johnson have joined forces to bring an old, tired farm in the Green Mountains of Southern Vermont back to life.

David

Dave Johnson was leasing land at the farm for hay when he had a vision of it becoming a dairy farm and a farmstead cheese company.  Now, that vision is a reality.
